PERTH CITY FARM WEDDING | GRACE & HUGH
Grace & Hugh started planning their wedding after getting engaged on a mountain in Canada (hence the amazing mountain themed backdrop to their nuptials). They didn’t want a long engagement and were lucky enough to snag a last minute opening for New Years Eve at The Perth City Farm.
So a whirl wind of planning then went ahead to bring in relatives and friends from around the world and put together a beautiful, unique wedding with some lovely (and cute) personal touches, a lot brought together by family & friends.
Heart & Soul Events handled the styling with dinosaur potted plants littered the outdoor area, which Grace found on Facebook marketplace, blooms by the amazing Maple & Wren, candles by Hugh’s Aunt, Ryan & Co Candlemakers, lighting by Micktricks, furniture by Black Label, the cake was made by Grace’s friend and most importantly, the rings were custom made by Grace’s sister, Burton Metal Depository!
Cocktails were served throughout the evening, finishing with Expresso Martinis and the rum was supplied by Grace’s relatives who own a distillery in Tasmania, New Norfolk Distillery. The band, Siboney & Andy arrived back from the UK just in time for the event, Hugh had seen them perform at a friend’s wedding in Europe and the stars aligned for them to appear at their wedding.
It was a wonderful night and Grace & Hugh definitely thought about their guests throughout the evening with an icecream truck turning up at 10pm to provide a much needed sugar boost to get that dance floor pumping for the next 3 hours!
